Service was quick and presented in smiles. Food was prepared quick as well but was definitely lacking flavour like other reviews have stated. Bland and greasy (with coconut oil, which I enjoy), the most flavour was in the plantain taco shells. The hot sauce was tingly than hot.
Excellent paleo foods, the beef bombs are delicious and the "donuts" are excellent.
Love the Paleo take-out at this place and can't believe you can get food that is Auto-immune Protocal (AIP) approved. This was a huge deal for a friend and I that did the AIP diet for a couple of months. We felt huge gratitude that we could zip over and get takeout without worrying about the ingredients. Very knowledgeable staff and huge frozen selection. I called them from the car the other day when I was stuck in traffic and too tired to cook...found out what was coming out of the oven, asked them to add yam fries and it was super!
I ordered 10 meals after being referred to this company by a friend. Sadly I was disappointed in the taste of the food. It was really bland and all the chicken meals seemed to share a similar taste. The portions are large but that doesn't really matter unless the food is good. Only the lasagna was delicious.
Truly one of Burlington's best healthy 'fast food' establishments. All meals are prepared in advance. The most difficult part of this experience is deciding between menu items. Rarely will you wait more than 7 minutes after deciding which delicious dish to devour. I have always been greeted by the friendly, informative owner who is passionate about paleo. Meals leave you feeling satiated, energized and comfortable. You must try this at least once!
