The hotel was nice. Our room had been renovated and was beautifully done. The breakfast buffet that was included with our stay was delicious with pretty much every kind of breakfast food. The only blemish to our stay was that the hotel used a shared parking lot that was first come first served, although parking is included for hotel guests. Very scenic and right beside Spencer Smith park.
Terrible experience here. Booked a room at this hotel months in advance for my wedding only to have it changed the day of. Jay was the person dealing with the reservation and ensured that everything will be taken care of the day of. Showed up and Jay said the room we booked 3 months ago was out of order (even though we checked and it was occupied by another couple) and kept blaming the mistake on his manager. He kept insisting to not forget the deal he gave us- which we never asked for from the beginning... nor would we have accepted if this was the way we would be treated. Do not book with this hotel for any special events- you will be disappointed.
Perfect location. Well kept rooms and common areas. Can be challenging to find quiet here since it's a popular spot for wedding guests and the like. Not the hotels fault and they did their best to keep drunken partiers quiet. Most rooms come with a pullout sofa which makes rooms more comfortable.
Absolutely love this place. Nice pool with a great view. Try to get your room to the lake view and you wont be sorry. The area itself is awesome and the best time to go would be when there is a festival going on there. You will have the best place in the whole area.
I really hated my stay at this rundown hotel. The staff were rude. I checked into a room with filthy mirrors, broken blinds, and garbage left by the previous guest. It made me wonder if it had even been cleaned in between. The staff refused to provide me with a receipt or inform me of the parking charge (I had no car). I was told by the front desk manager multiple times that I would get a call back, but they're clearly disorganized because I never got a call. You're better off at the Holiday Inn than this dump.
