DO NOT GO TO THIS CANADIAN TIRE!Very rude and dishonest gentleman working at the auto service desk. His loud and aggressive demeanour made for an uncomfortable discussion. He was vague with pricing and quick to up sell services. I use to be a Canadian Tire fan for service, but after this visit I will no longer use them as customer service has just tanked. Gone are the days where Canadian Tire employees actually give a s***. So sad, so very sad.Perhaps Canadian Tire has forgotten the new era of purchasing - online. No longer do we have to accept sub-par customer service for over priced garbage. So many of the exact same items are available on Amazon.ca and for less including free shipping. Don't waste your time with Canadian Tire Auto Service - get informed, use Google to figure out what you require, order it and take it to a local auto repair shop. Okay enough shopping experience here. Some of the staff here, especially the summer staff struggle to even help much less know their job. It took 3 boys to answer a simple question about where i could find a product. They also seemed to need to be around each other for moral support too. This is a rather large store with a decent selection. Plenty of parking and medium sized garden center. Managers seem to be competent and professional. Outdoor goods section is okay but tailored to suburban and part outdoors. This Canadian tire does NOT have live bait despite proximity to fishing locations in the area.
Good access staff good and know where the position of what you are looking for is. Wash rooms good and wheel chair accessible
Went to this Canadian tire to return a product. The product broke after second use and the returns clerk, did not tell me about the return policy on the product but proceeded to call the auto manager Karen to come over and tell me that once the product is used it cannot be returned but exchanged for another product. I told her I don't want to exchange only return. She repeated her policy again and not in a nice manner but I was courteous with her and told her I only want to return not exchange. She turned away to leave, flashed her hand and said to the clerk in a rude time of voice, just returned the money. That was absolutely uncalled for and completely rude and she requires more training in dealing with people.
I ordered a tfal supergrill which was picked it up from the north appleby store in Burlington. The unit came with incompatible heating plates/pads. Apparently this was the last unit. I ended up returning it at the guelph line store in Burlington. This incident incurred me wasting time and a 30 km drive back and forth. Both stores failed to apologize or recognize their fault in selling an unusable product. Quite disappointing.
