I like Metro now, but I use to love it before. They have changed from 24hrs to less hours. I use to love going in very early in the am when most people were asleep. Otherwise, now i can go to Metro or another grocery store close by, makes no difference. Excellent produce and friendly staff. Store is well kept and not gross to walk through. There is an abundance of free parking.

No longer 24 hours, which was our main reason to go there. Prices tend to be higher because it was open 24 hours, will be interesting to see if they come down further. Usually use for short, quick trips only. Sale prices, however, tend to be lower than competitors - so come on knowing what you're looking for. Friendly staff, have managed line ups better recently than in the past. Produce section is okay, meat section is decent. Deli counter is quite good. House brand ("Selection") tends to be weaker than, say, President's Choice.

Every time I shop here I have a horrible experience with a cashier.I greeted the cashier, she looked at me, ignored my greeting then proceeded to scan my items. She roughly tossed my items into the bag I brought and didnt tell me my total, nor did she ask for my air miles card. Her attitude and body language made it very obvious that she didnt want to be there. At the end of the transaction she plucked my receipt from the printer and slapped it down on the end counter - didnt hand it to me, didnt smile, didnt make eye contact, nor did she thank me.Seriously? Fortinos is worth the drive.

They never have the meat that they advertise in their flyer. They show fresh cuts of meat and then you find out its frozen. I wont bother to make the trip here anymore.

Clean well stocked never a long wait in line. Can be pricey on basic items. Has good sales
