Soup was good and waitress was pleasant. I stopped in with a colleague after for a quick bite and drink before attending a night class. Ordered the calamari and onion soup. Most places overcook calamari but the chef did a good job with my order as it was tasty and cooked as it should be - not chewy. The onion soup was filling and thoroughly enjoyed a damp evening in early spring.

Service was so slow. It took 40 minutes to get a glass of water, which I only got because I eventually went up to the bar to ask for one. I was very disappointed in the fish tacos. This is usually a favourite dish of mine at other restaurants, but the fish tasted off and the toppings had far too much of a vinegar flavour.

Cute little patio and pleasant inside. Fish and Chips were EXCELLENT. Fish was to die for. Chips were DELISH but their quantity disappointed. The meat burger was tall and tasty. Everything came out super hot and appeared very fresh. I've had veg burger in 25 different places. Only one place was better than Fionn's. Amazing veg burger. Cooked thru, moist and tasty. But again stingy on fries that came with it. The separate order of fries was again too small compared to other pubs. Pints were smaller than many other places but the price seemed the same as for a larger pint of the same type of beer. If this place wasn't stingy it would be a FIVE STAR.

Great service, great food.A live band playing for a lively audience.Perfect for a drink and a bite with friends

Had a couple dinner items for lunch here. The Cobb salad was good but the fish and chips were very greasy. The oil was all at the bottom soaking up my fries. We will probably not come back here again.
