Bad experience with one pharmacist, the same pharmacist a few weeks ago told me that he couldn't renew my prescription because my doctor had passed away. Fine....so I went to see my GP to receive a new prescription for 4 months and dropped it off. But did not need a refill at the time. Yesterday, Friday the 21st of September, I was packing for a 15 day business trip and I noticed I only had capsules for 13 days. I rushed to the pharmacy before they closed to get 2 capsules. Because it is a controlled substance, the pharmacist refused to give me any capsules. I offered to show him my plane tickets and itinerary but he said I had to call my doctor. There's no doctors I know that work on Friday nights besides I never would have bothered my doctor for to capsules... I understand the strict rules on controlled substances however in order to support the pharmacist's decision to suply me with 2 capsules, he had proof that as of the 4th of October he can renew the prescription for 60 capsules, he knows and his files indicate I've been taking this for three years , he could have taken copies of my itinerary as supporting documentation for the decision.... life happens Mr Pharmacist and logic prevails.
Beaware! These guys require to produce your Health Card. Such an ignorant service should be out of business.
I have been with IDA and this location for over 20 years. Fantastic people who are very caring and thorough how to take medications. If you're in this area, I would definitely recommend this pharmacy.
